MakeMatic Away Day – One Ring-Making Workshop To Rule Them All

Last week, MakeMatic staff attended a jewellery making workshop at Thomas Goldsmith's in Derry.Led by the inimitable David Thomas, it gave us the opportunity to get creative away from our desktops.It was a noisy, hands-on affair, with lots of hammering, smelting, chiselling and comparing creations.And in the end, we each came away with our very own silver ring and a renewed focus on the job ahead.Here are some photos from the first Makematic Creative Away Day – a team-building exercise we would highly recommend.
