We are seeking to appoint a full-time PROJECT MANAGER to support a variety of publicly and commercially-funded initiatives for classroom teachers.

We develop professional learning course content for educators in primary and secondary education. This content is used, under license, by a variety of public and commercial organisations as part of their outreach initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of these initiatives including recruitment of participants (teachers & schools), on-boarding activities and various project reporting duties. 

This is a hands-on proactive role that will require exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, impressive organisational skills and an ability to achieve robust targets. A background in teaching would be a distinct advantage but a proven track-record in project management is essential.  

Core Responsibilities

  1. Project manage both publicly and privately-funded educational initiatives to include:
    1. ensuring the successful delivery of key performance indicators and outputs
    2. organising marketing campaigns to recruit teachers and schools
    3. providing regular reporting to both senior management and project funders
    4. effectively allocate and manage budgets, including procuring services from 3rd party suppliers
    5. liaising directly with project funders and partners
  2. Attend and participate in various industry events both locally and nationally
  3. Create community support guidelines, checklists and materials


  1. Experience in a busy office environment
  2. Self-starter who is comfortable working to deadlines and targets
  3. Exceptional communication skills – online and in person
  4. Experience managing complex projects
  5. Competence with typical social media platforms
  6. Confident in-person presenter
  7. Recent references
  8. Be a good person


  1. Experience with both private and publicly funded projects
  2. One or more of:
    1. Direct educational experience
      1. as an educator or administrator in a primary or secondary setting
      2. or, in delivering workshops or other activities to schools
    2. Project management experience
  3. Familiarity with typical project management and productivity tools eg. Basecamp, Slack
  4. Full clean driving license with access to your own transport

The position would ideally suit someone with a background in education and/or experience in a project management role. 

Whilst a degree or other qualification in a related discipline may be an advantage we are most interested in a proven ability to deliver in a workplace setting. The successful candidate will be able to identify programmes and initiatives where they have made a direct and meaningful impact.

The successful candidate must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Northern Ireland. Frequent travel within the UK and Ireland should be expected.
